Do I have to appear in court to pay my fine?
No. You may mail your payment to the court after a fine has been imposed by the judge. A fine notice will be issued either upon receipt of a guilty disposition by mail or an appearance in court on the date denoted on the ticket. Payment may be mailed to: Kirkland Town Court, P.O. Box 87, Franklin Springs, NY 13341.
Is the court open daily or just Tuesday evenings?
Court is only open on Tuesday evenings. If you call the Town of Kirkland Justice Court number (315) 853-4538, you may leave a message and the court clerk will return your call. The clerk is not in the office on a daily basis.
